Brett Favre flew into GB sunday night to compete for the starting position. Any thoughts on this?

Also, i think that favre had the right to comeback. GM could have released him or traded him. he is still on contract to i don't know how you guy's can say that he can't come back and play when he is still in contract for another 3 years.

Do you guy's think that all this OC drama ruined his career/image?

i don't think it will because this is just like the reggie white situation, no one will remember this in 5 years.

There is a huge problem that i see with this. McCarthy is in a no-win situation. He said the team belonged to Rodgers, now has to do an open competition where you know Favre has the upper hand.

Even if Rodgers is better, shows he's better in camp, and struggles at all during the season, there will be riots.

It's just a no win situation, somethine McCarthy clearly wanted no part of.

Agree with Drago. I hope Favre is happy that he is costing his team the season for his own personal gains.

he could get us there...as long as someone else beats the cowboys for him and assuming every other NFC team plays possum this year (likely aside from the vikings and cowboys).

So do we think this will be a fair competition for the starting job, or do you think the Pack is still trying to get rid of him?

breaking news is that favre just was interviewed on ESPN and said the only thing left to do was to trade him, because it is too much of a distraction to do anything else
