5 for 6 48 yards and a TD.

His nicest pass was one where he let a crossing route develop on a 3rd and 12 play, lofting it to Cotchery for a 20 yard gain. I have to say, it's interesting seeing a jets team at 3rd and long knowing we have a QB that can actually throw the ball past the first down marker without taking a running start.

I liked what i saw, even if the plays were really dumbed down for him in the only two series he played (15 snaps total).

yea it was pretty crazy and especially since you said they now have a 4 wide out. that's sweet!! it will just be one more things that teams will have to watch out for.

I think they'll look a lot like the Colts, in terms of play design this year. The Colts like to come out with the two TE's, with Clark being much smaller and better with routes and the other being more traditional. I love the set up because when they take the field they can grind out yards up the middle or spread them out and pick on the extra linebacker who is probably on Clark.

I don't think Dustin Keller is as good as Clark, by any means, but i do think the Jets will look for a very similar match up.

If the Jets' line can sustain a running game with Baker and/or Keller split out wide, it will really add a great dimension to their attack. A demension the Jets have never had since I've been watching them.

That....i would agree with. Franks had a pretty good start to his career but he just isn't very good. I really think Favre was missing out on about 10 to 15 more TD's at least, with having the TE's he has had over the last few seasons.

I'm anxious to see if he falls in love with Baker. Baker doesn't get great seperation but is said to have the best hands on the team...even over Coles.
