did you read that somewhere? i just coudln't see it happening...i mean the shoe fits and all but it's within the division and the vikings are a damn fine team right now.
Re: Packers Frustrated with lack of Demand for Favre
they would win our division and put the pack at a 0-1 start of the season

Re: Packers Frustrated with lack of Demand for Favre
Quite likely that they do that without favre. The Vikings are a damn good team...minus the QB situation.
Re: Packers Frustrated with lack of Demand for Favre
that's true but superbowl for the vikings if they get favre

Re: Packers Frustrated with lack of Demand for Favre
Just like the Super Bowl he won in 1996. What happened to all the other Super Bowl's since? Oh yeah, other teams won them instead.
I don't know why you love Favre so much, it's not like he has accomplished any more team goals than Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson or Ben Rothlisberger. He's just another bum with one Super Bowl win and multiple blown playoff preformances.
Go Brett, go.

superbowl wins obviously don't mean sh*t.. look at dan marino, he never won a superbowl and is considered one of the best QB's ever to play

it's not the end all but it certainly proves neither could win the big game. There is a reason people regard Montana as teh best QB ever. More rings.

If favre doesn't accept the 20 million bribe he will be a viking. i honestly believe that, but I have nothing factual to back it up

Re: Packers Frustrated with lack of Demand for Favre
yea but you have to be on a good team to win games. you can't just be a one man team and put people in back packs and carry them to a superbowl win. that's what favre tried to do in the giants game which is why he threw the int. he didn't have any help from his offense

LMFAO!!!
that packers team was stacked. great defense, great receivers and a good o-line. Favre quit on them, he was not interested in the game at all. Watch the game with a criticle eye for once, your beloved Brett cost them that game.
I don't care how many yards Grant had, all year Favre had set up the running game with the passing game, in that game he quit. He flat out stunk up the place and quit. Grant coudln't get going because favre didn't throw the little slants to jennings and driver, he didn't hit the TE's he didn't play with any emphasis at all.
Favre is a total hack and a quitter, the dude only beats garbage teams. Good ****ing riddance.
Re: Packers Frustrated with lack of Demand for Favre
that team was stacked?? how could you say that everyone thought we were going to go lke 9-7 maybe... we weren't stacked we just played well with eachother and became good by playing like a team. the patriots and cowgirls are stacked. we had all nobodies on our team we weren't suppose to go 13-3 possiblely 15-1 if we wouldn't have lost to those shitty bears twice.

Re: Packers Frustrated with lack of Demand for Favre
just because you don't know all the players names doesn't mean they aren't good. Every year rookies and second year players make names for themselves and the packers had pleny do that for them.
Any d-line that features, cory williams, aaron kampan, KGB among other AND has their former first round pick, who is solid, playing mop up duty, is stacked. They have two top 5 offensive tackles a receiving corps that was tops in the league at runs after the catch (yes better than owens and company).
you don't need stars to be stacked. The packers have drafted well for years and are reaping the benefits.
You choose to think Favre is the entire team because you dont' watch the games critically. You see a good offensive play and say "nice job brett" and that's it.

Re: Packers Frustrated with lack of Demand for Favre
no did you see us for some of those game that we pulled out of our arse... the packers were inconsistent because they couldn't play well under pressure. we should have been blowing teams out of the water because we were so "stacked". just like the patriots. we were better than all the teams we faced this past season besides the cowboys. like we would blow the vikings out 34-0 and play the bears and get our as*es kicked. that's rediculous. if we could have played consistent we would have been inthe superbowl. also the seahawks game, they got sh*t on and favre and company played awesome 42-10 or something ilke that. and then we can't do anything offensivly against the NYG. and don't even say that the seahawks were worst than the NYG, they suck. manning is garbage. it was like an on and off season. it was either our defense did well like the first game and our offense sucks or our offense owns and defense owns like the seahawks, san diego, and vikings games and many others. or both sides suck like the NYG game. harris sucked balls. we were just inconsistent

Re: Packers Frustrated with lack of Demand for Favre
inconsistancy is different from untalented. The packers are young and talented, they are going to have their dud-games from time to time. See the Chiefs and Seahawks (early in the game).
As usual, Brett beats those teams, well grant beat the hawks but brett played well. It's only when there is competition that brett shows his true colors.

Re: Packers Frustrated with lack of Demand for Favre
yea grant played amazing but so did favre in that seahawks game. he had over 200 yards and 3 TD's and no interceptions. i'm just saying that yea we were very talented last season but inconsistent. we had the talent to go to the superbowl and possibly win. favre just had to much going in his head on the NYG game and doesn't play like he usually does, which is to have fun and win. he prolly was just saying to himself, my last season, why don't i try and get the superbowl by throwing a TD against the NYG to get us there. he tried to make a miracle (amazing) happen like he did previously in the season. he just tried to do to much, i guess you could say he got a big head.

you can say that for all of his big game losses. Lord knows there are plenty to choose from.
Re: Packers Frustrated with lack of Demand for Favre
but everyone is going to lose big games that's just how it works. did you expect him to win every big game. i didn't. i knew we were going to lose to the cowboys, but not the NYG. seeing as how we owned the crap out of them in the 3rd game of the season.
