ah yes, high school football

Just got back from watching a high school football game. I figured I'd go just so that my students would see me and give me some cred (they complain that I go to soccer and volleyball games, but not football). Here's a brief summary of how almost every high school football game goes:
run for 2 yards
run for 12 yards
run for 3 yards
run for 2 yards
fumble
run for 3 yards
run for 5 yards
run for no gain
fumble
run for 7 yards
run for 5 yards
incomplete pass(!!!!!!)
fumble
run for 38 yard TD
missed XP
end of quarter

i was at a JV high school game the other day. They threw a bit more, which meant more interceptions. I believe his stat line read: 1 for 5, 2 Ints.

oh yeah, and the one school was up by 30, and faked a punt. Then did it again and on top of that went for it on 4th down just for shits. This was sophmore football too...horrible display of humanity.
