Muskego High School Preview Empty Muskego High School Preview

After finishing second in the state tournament last season, Coach Eric Hess and the Muskego Warriors look to repeat last season’s success again in 2009. Led by seniors and 4-year varsity players Jacob Pope and Riley Weiner, Muskego will undoubtedly make easy work of the Southeast Conference for the 4th year in a row, having gone undefeated in conference play since the 2005 season. The question for them will be whether or not they can make the stellar playoff run like they had last year. Having lost a bulk of the starting lineup to graduation, Muskego will count on returning players who saw time last season as well as some new faces to fill in the gaps. With a strong junior class and the leadership and experience of their seniors behind them, Muskego should be able to not only compete with the higher-level schools in the area, but also come away with some wins as well.

Key Losses – Matt Evanoff (UW-Whitewater), Kurt Knolle (UW-Platteville), Andy Ksobiech (Carroll University), Zach Sprecher (UW-Whitewater), Chris Stoiber (UW-Parkside)

Key Returners – Jacob Pope, Riley Weiner, Tim Dahl, Zak DeGrave

Players to Watch – Tim Hoffman, Luke Stoll, Paul Palmisano, Dan Czernicki

Will be posted on the front page shortly.

He is a former UWM keeper I think. Pretty tall guy, maybe 6'2", mid 30's. I know he played for Milwaukee Sport Club for a few years there.

He's a damn good keeper.
