Changes in the Forum/Site
We're going to be changing the look up the site and possibly the entire forum. I hope it is no necessary to have everyone re-register but it may be a bi-product of this change. I apologize in advance if that is the case.
The site will look far more professional and will be much easier to navigate.
If you anyone has any ideas for next season, I am all ears. You can e-mail me directly at drago@cheeseathletics.com or you can send me a personal message on this forum.
Again, thanks for coming by the site and I am always interested in ideas you may have (regardless if you have one post or 800 posts, I love new ideas).
The changes will be made over the next month or two.

Re: Changes in the Forum/Site
I have some advice.....
First... Categorize topics within the main topics.. IF you want this site to be big, you need it to be organized. Information and forum topics are scrambaled all over the place. Come'on man, it's hard to navigate throughout this forum. People post topics that have already been posted.
Second... Members should be able to have a friends list. It would be a lot easier for people to communicate to eachother if you have one.
Final... SPELL CHECK. People who have impaired typing skills can't always say what they want to because they are retarted and have only finished the third grade...
Just some advice...

Reynolds...how the hell are ya?
I am not entirely sure what you mean by topics within the main topics. If you mean:
Main topic: Soccer
Sub1: College
Sub2: High School
THen I agree. Although at this point I don't feel we have the people to support so many sub topics. The site is on the way to sub topics but i don't feel it's quite there yet.
There actually is a friends list...you have to go to their profile...i'm not entirely sure how it works, i have so many foes, it's hard to keep count.
Spell check...??? You go to Arrowhead, I thought you invented walking on water, flying and spoiled children? Surely spell check cannot be an issue for someone like yourself.

Re: Changes in the Forum/Site
So the site has changed a bit. You will notice there are now two places to login.
1 - for the site
2 - for the forum
I do not intend this to be confusing but we will be phasing out this forum for a new forum that you cannot yet see. If you register with the 'new' site, you will use that for the 'new' forum. I am not sure when I will go live to the new forum but am thinking it will happen late this summer or just after the soccer season (November 2010).
Any questions? You can reply to this and I will answer, or send an email to drago@cheeseathletics.com

Re: Changes in the Forum/Site
First redesign mockup/teaser. I plan on making a few more, since they don't take very long.
Notes:
- Obviously the page width/height are static since this is just a mockup, in reality they would adjust dynamically to your resolution/browser.
- I'm not entirely sure 100% of this will be implementable by the web app.

wow bomber. Looks awesome. Does that work with the current skin i have implemented? Looks awesome.
Re: Changes in the Forum/Site
I'm not sure yet...I haven't tried slicing everything up and plugging the pieces in. I'm probably just going to do a couple of designs, and then once one gets settled on start redoing the elements as needed. I'm keeping them pretty basic, though, so I don't think it should be too much trouble.

Re: Changes in the Forum/Site
The mock-up looks pretty sweet, but I'm not sure how that'll fit in with the skin Drago chose. DNN is a dynamic site driven by a database and I don't know enought about skinning it yet to be able to say for certain, but I don't think it's too easy if you haven't done it.
There may be an option that I'm looking into...but don't know for sure how it works yet.
