How legit was that call for the PK? Tough to see on the video

The ref seemed to be grasping at straws all night. One foul was a call, another was not. The only thing he had going for him was he was messing up calls on both sides so badly that no one could really complain...until the PK call.

I thought it was an 'ok' call but definately weak for PK standards.

Pretty sad that it took a penalty kick to take down Wisconsin Lutheran. This is the same WLC team that got taken apart by Lake Forest 5-0.

How does Eisold play so well against Carroll and so poor against Lake Forest?

Vs. Lake Forest: 7 saves, 5 goals

so i know its late but i would like to address this comment...as stated in some of the latest forums statistics do not point out the whole story and i wish this was put into perspective more often. Defense in futbol is much more than just a goalkeepers job and when defenders make mistakes it often puts goalkeepers into unsavable positions. In the lake forest game defenders twice gave the ball away during routine possession at the back which resulted in 1 v 1's where the gk was out of position. They then finished. There also was an own goal a header from on the six after a redirect and an absolute screamer of a volley to the back post. It has nothing to do necessarily with the performance but rather the situations.

good call. Stats rarely tell the full story. I've seen Eisold in action and am confident in saying...if they were saveable shots, they would have been saved.
