That would be unreal. At some point they have to lose (i think?) but we need to be on a roll for the cubbies. I can't wait for that one.

Cards have scored 6 runs against us in three games. Now they have to face our best pitcher.

speaking of sweeping the cardinals. braun is a beast. man did we get lucky these past 4 games. getting home runs in the last two innings to win it

Had the ball broke a little different we could be looking at a 1 win series instead of 3. Great job by the crew.

braun stood there for 10 seconds admiring his home run, hopefully he wears body armor when we go back to St. Louis later this year

we should have scored way more times that 4 runs. we had men in scoring position like 5 times, we just couldn't deliver

corey hart's comment last night, "if we would have lost that game you probably would have found me in a ditch"

He, and the rest of the team, was beyond awful this serious with runners in scoring position. Its a miracle we win all 4 games when we stranded 40 runners on base.

but, sometimes you just take what you can get, especially when its a sweep:)

now we have the astros coming into town who have lost 5 in a row, lets make sure they continue their losing.

lets hope both continue, but you have to figure the crew are due for a loss at some point. We better not be looking to the cubs already...gotta take care of business with Houston first.

i'm sure they will lose a few in a row here and there but i don't think this team is going to lose 4 in a row at any point. The pitching has really stepped up and the hitters are not reliant on only fielder and braun like they were last year.

This team shoudln't have toomany losing streaks.

If we win 2 out of 3 and then split the series with the Cubs I would not be overally disappointed.

We have to remember, the Cubs ARE the best team in the NL. The Brewers are performing above statistical expectations. The cubs have a better bullpen, and much better overall offense and OBP, they walk more and hit for higher average. Their run differential is over a +100, which is a strong indicator of a team's talent.

However, we are closing the gap a little bit recently. Its going to be a dogfight to the finish. Even though we are acid hot right now, we have to prepare ourselves for some tough battles.

Personally, i think the cubs are playing better than they actually are. Maybe not as of late but the cubs are generally very average despite having the large payroll.

They'll more than likely make the playoffs but i'm not sold on them yet.

they beat us in the wild card spot last year right?
