Re: Found an interesting picture...???
being a captain of this group would take a truly unique person. I vote for Bruce Willis; only because he can take a bullet really well.
Re: Found an interesting picture...???
I concur!!!! Either that or Steven Segal!!!!

definitely not segal, or jason , but if we need someone that can take a bullet, i'd have to go with Neo ... then Bruce Willis, if Neo is not available.

Re: Found an interesting picture...???
he is definitely not the f'n man ... also it's Willem Defoe (his mother could not spell) ... as for Neo, if i have to remind you, he takes a full clip to the chest point-blank and gets up and says: "No" ... as for taking a bullet, my nominees are:
1-Neo
2-Bullet Tooth Tony
3-Richard B. Riddick
4-Wolverine
5-Blain ("I don't have time to bleed")
6-T1000
for a quarter, name the movies the above characters were in, bonus for actors names.

As for people that have been able to take a bullet and keep on ticking, my votes would be (in no particular order):
Wolverine
John McClane
T-1000
Bullet-Tooth Tony
Elias
Jason Bourne
Martin Riggs
Renard
Cameron Poe
The Bride aka Beatrix Kiddo
Honorable Mentions (not bullets but arrows and knives):
The big dude in Gladiator
Boromir
Oh Dae-su
Wolverine
John McClane
T-1000
Bullet-Tooth Tony
Elias
Jason Bourne
Martin Riggs
Renard
Cameron Poe
The Bride aka Beatrix Kiddo
Honorable Mentions (not bullets but arrows and knives):
The big dude in Gladiator
Boromir

no way you can compare the big dude in gladiator to Beatrix Kiddo. Chick got shot in the dome, not even the big steroid guy take that and walk away.
otherwise, great list...i have to question jason bourne but love the Cameron Poe call out. lol

Re: Found an interesting picture...???
I think you're right, I want to take the big dude off the list. Question Jason Bourne? The dude got shot, then proceeded to be in (and dominate) in the best car chase scene in movie history, then walk away, then proceed to kick the crap out of two security guards. If that isn't taking a bullet and keep on ticking, I don't know what is.
And lets be honest, who doesn't love Cameron Poe

Drago loses man points for questioning Jason Bourne. Might I also remind you that he was shot, floated in the Mediterranean for awhile, then came back to destroy everyone on Earth that ever did anything wrong.

not cool. I haven't even seen all of the bourne movies, i still contest that any list not beginning and ending with John Mclain is not a list at all.

I think Ethan makes a great point.

Re: Found an interesting picture...???
oh yeah, i thought of boromir, and he takes a couple hits pretty well, but i think the outcome may disqualify him from this list.
And Riddick for his natural ability to be beaten on and keep on ticking. I suppose no bullets takes him off the list but he does get jacked pretty good with gravity gun in the 2nd movie.

What about Jaws? Not really a straight gun but he does get harpooned with a couple of barrells on the other end. I don't even think John McClain or Riddick could last that one.
My man points have been surrendered ever since i lived with booba for two years.

Re: Found an interesting picture...???
that's just how booba rolls. The worst part about booba (aside from the anger issues directed at that stupid game with the aliens and madden) is his toes.
You have never seen uglier toes in your life. They are always peeling skin looking all disfigured. It's really awful. Ask him to post a picture.

how many controllers did you break over the course of that year or two? When the cordless controllers came out, i thought that would be the end of your bank accounts.

Re: Found an interesting picture...???
Ok first things first. Lets go over the picture. Ok it is true. Matt you caught me, great detective work (it does not look like a crappy cut and paste job at all). So I guess it is confession time for me. Yes, I used to be a woman. After high school I had surgery and became a man. So now you all know. But before all you macho guys out there start to point fingers and laugh, just remember one thing. Genetically I am still a woman, and this woman is faster than most you meat heads out there. Not to mention I could kill you all with my stellar ninja moves. So go ahead laugh it up boys, just remember that you will get your ass beat by a girl.
Oh and great topic on taking a bullet. I like Porter lots. He has to be on the top of that list because he takes 2 bullets and plays and interesting game of “this little piggy”. Payback is a great movie, if you have not seen it, go buy it trust me on this one. Oh and always remember to carry a lighter on you otherwise your are no use (Great part in the movie, watch it and you will understand)
I would like to add to the list two top guys that I am disturbed no one has stated yet. V and Frank Castle. Shame on all of you for leaving them out. You guys seem to take it once step further with arrows and other objects so let me but William Wallace on that list as well. Sure you don't get to see it, but you have to ask yourself, would you really want to? Really?

"It's 70 grand" ... awesome movie, nice call ... I'd like to nominate Malcolm Reynolds since he always got shot. Never really more than once, but it seemed like every battle.
PS: Garrett are you hinting you are a fast woman? Watch out for Kalman. He's a sucker for fast women.

William wallace is flat out not our team captain. He took one arrow to the chest, tore it out and kept fighting. If one arrow was all it took, than the redheaded guys dad in Braveheart would be our captain for sure. Cause he took three arrows AND held up a gate for his scots to come piling through.
Porter is a great pick but I still think Beatrice Kiddo takes the cake. The girl took semi automatic rounds WITH A BUN IN THE OVEN!!! and a pistol shot to the dome. To that, Beatrice says...no...you may not kill me.
I stick with Kiddo...that...or Jaws.
---and garrett, thanks for coming out with the "i am a woman" stuff...that will really help you mentally. Next step? Finding you a boyfriend. I vote on Kalman or Callen.

Re: Found an interesting picture...???
Drago,
You clearly did not understand what I was referring to in Braveheart. I was not talking about the arrow. I was referring to the ending. For all of you who don’t understand what they did not show, this is a list of things they implied happened to him.
Until 1814, the full punishment for the crime of treason was to be hanged, drawn and quartered in that the condemned prisoner would be:
1. Dragged on a hurdle (a wooden frame) to the place of execution.
2. Hanged by the neck for a short time or until almost dead (hanged).
3. Disemboweled and emasculated and the genitalia and entrails burned before the condemned's eyes. For you Simpletons this means they are cutting his genitals off and cutting open his stomach to remove his organs, while he is still alive.
4. Then beheaded and the body divided into four parts (quartered).
That is what I was talking about. Any man that takes that type of punishment all at the same time having the executioner tell him all he has to do is swear to the king of England and he would cut off his head to end it quick. Nope he opts to go though the whole ordeal.

V is a good choice that I forgot.

After thinking about it for a while I don't know if I would consider V. He had a little help with the whole getting shot thing, so I don't know if that should exclude him or not. I guess keep him on there, since he did actually get shot regardless of what he was wearing.
