College

i might have already made one of these threads but w/e i don't feel like looking for it.


so i have to pick some colleges and most of you people here have been to college or are currently enrolled in it. tips or anything?? i was trying to debate on wether or not to go out of state. anyone wanna give me some imput?

i was thinking about going to a business school. anyone know any good ones besides whitewater (i think #1 in WI). how is WW comparable to any other business schools?

You don't want to go to whitewater. If you want business and are good at school, i'd think UW Madison. Whitewater may be ranked high like that but if you want credibility, everyone in the country knows and respects UW Madison.

yea that's what i was thinking, but Madison only takes in 5000 freshman, it's much easier to transfer. i talked to a madison representative a couple of weeks ago and she gave me some tips

i'm #1-29 in my class of 700. all 29 of us have a cumulative GPA of 4.0, so i think my odds are good. i just have to keep it up

your odds aren't good, they are almost can't miss. As long as you do fine on your ACT, i think you need a 25 plus...you'll get in without trouble. I didn't apply to Madison but didn't get rejected from any UW schools with a 3.3 and a very average ACT. I would have gotten rejected from madison but you won't.

werd.... yes the ACT i'm taking it in december and in feb.
