Sign Ben Sheets

Chalk me up for one person that wants him back. His price tag may be too high with his injury history but it is rare to find an ace of his calliber. If the Crew actually do make the playoffs during my lifetime, i'd like Sheets to be able to take the mound in a game 7 when we need a quality start.

Agreed. With Gallardo coming back I think that leaves us with as good at one-two punch as any team in the majors. Now if we could just find somebody not named Dave Bush...

bush has been playing well though. Not sure that he can keep it up and i have never been a fan of the four seemed fast ball but maybe he'll keep up his current pace.

Part of me wants us to trade Sheets for a bullpen pitcher and some more minor league pitching AND go after Sabathia. It is bad timing but if we don't do something with Sheets we will get nothing for him (except 4 more months of shut down pitching).

the team is in the middle of a playoff run, no way they can get rid of their best pitcher. Even with Sabathia replacing him, its like you are making a trade just for the sake of making a trade.

They look pretty good today, if they can keep it up there is no need ot make any moves at all.
