NCAA Rankings as of Sep 29

It's great that the Midwest Conference has two teams represented (St. Norberts & Carroll) and Congrats to all the schools which have made the Poll.

However, I think Augsburg, Gustavus, and Wartburg could have been ranked somewhere between 3 and 6.

BEN VA - Mentioned that St. Norberts needed to get themselves firing on all cylinders, with Grinnell coming to St. Norberts and a MWC match-up. He is wise, and this should be a good match.

If you have not had a chance to view Grinnell's non-conference games , it is a very impressive list and they will be battle tested, coming into this month of October and MWC matches.

Didnt know the NCAA rankings came out, dont they not come out til mid October???

Curious how Carroll is higher than Whitewater when Whitewater won the head to head.

Has anyone seen St. Olaf? I remember they use to be solid and would assume the same now but have never seen them play.

St. Norberts at the 8th spot with 3 losses, one being to LFC? Did Carroll make it that high last year with their only 'rough' loss being to WISCO, especially after beating three 'big-name' teams (Oshkosh, Whitewater, St. Thomas)?

It is my understanding that this fall is the first year with a North ranking. I believe last fall Carroll and other teams where in the Central rankings.

With adding a new region into the rankings it leads to teams having 3 losses, etc because you have limited high quality teams.

Basicly the rankings are nice but they mean nothing and carry no weight when it comes to NCAA D3 tournament selection.

That was my understanding too. It is nice to see Midwest Conference teams get some notoriety. It's been a long time coming.
