Northstars preseason

The 2009 Northstar team is not going to be a tall team, but they are going to be very well conditioned. The team has taken upon themselves to see that they were fit entering 2009 with a very strenuous off season program.

North is going to have about 8 seniors this year. Most of them have played together for nearly their entire soccer career. Brandyn Banaszynski in the midfield is going to be a big threat; his ball skill, defense, speed are very good. Matthew Rynders in the forward position will be a big threat, he was the leading scorer last year and has a very good potential this year. Paul Dynis in the midfield position, he has very good ball skills and is very comfortable when he has the ball. Travis Kleven in the defense position, he is very good in the middle and is calm when he receives the ball.

The Junior class has some players to watch out for as well. Tyler Birschbach, has great foot skill. Alex tran he is very calm with the ball and can shoot the ball from almost anywhere. North is hopefully going to have a better season than last year and make it farther in the tournament. This would be a first in almost like 20 years.

The team is going to be playing a 4-5-1
