Game Last Night

High School guys came through clutch. Each had their hand in one or more goals (in some cases, all the goals...). Holy crap Szecsy, stop scoring so much, you're making the old guys look worse than they already are. Laughing

It was nice getting the cobwebs out but it would have been even nicer if the guys that said they'd be there, were actually there. I don't really care, it was nice getting minutes and I know Vaughan, Macleod and Kalman will all be back (thanks for letting me know you all weren't going to make it).

All in all it was a good game.

Hey Travis, how is the wing? A couple guys said you played a great game, I would agree.

My bad Drago,

I have been in Florida all week and I was supposed to be back on Saturday night but my sister's grandma passed away over the week so I got my flight back extended to come back today. I totally forgot that we had a game on Sunday and to let you know that I wasn't going to make it. I will be there next week.

ok, i gave it a couple of days but i'm still pissed. Our marking is bad and our subbing is worse. How do we seem to digress? I realize the first team we played were pretty poor but come on!

We're switching to a zone mark in the middle for sure. We were getting torched on entry passes from the keeper/sweeper.

I think we got torched cuz we stood and stared after our guy passed the ball. The give-n-go was open to them all day. Everybody needs to stick with a man ... even the front guys gotta track back when their guy makes a run.

I don't know why we insist on passing guys off everytime someone makes a run. Usually, when we do the passing off, we are handing that player off to someone else that is already marking someone.

Sigh...that game gets a huge 'sigh'.

Drago is scum. He turns me down every time for soccer. Maybe it is because I am morbidly obese, don't pay him or show up to games. I still think there is something more to it. Maybe it is that he is scum?

I have no clue on the assists but if we have more assists than goals, i'll be suspicious. Laughing

What's the deal with the picture? I thought you were supposed to be clever? So was this most recent team from a blind school? 10 goals and only 2 surrendered either means; A.) You played well (highly unlikely) or B.) It was a blind team.

...how about assists to the other team? I got like 5 of those in the last year. I'm pretty good at setting the other team up for goals. If that becomes a stat column, i'd kick ass.

Dude, i had the whole great eight perfect...then advanced one flippin team. I'll never bet on Pitt again...IDK, i have never picked the correct champion except the year MSU won it in like 2001.

I make my living on setting the opposing team up for goals. They usually wheel-barrell me in, sit me in front of the net while the opposition rips shots off of my love handels. Some times I'm the hero, sometimes I knock it in myself.
