Re: How was everyone's weekend?
Spent friday night with friends and saturday working. Then Sunday work then with family i havent seen in years, so it was great
Still conflicted with what to do for halloween, go with matt to his friends party or go to chicago to bike ride with hundreds of others and block traffic then go to a fire jam at daily plaza. Dont think matt wants to come with me to chicago but if he does that would be a great halloween dont you think?

Re: How was everyone's weekend?
Sounds like a nice weekend.
Tictac you should just truck on over to Chi-town and Matt should follow since he'll be gone for a bit soon and, lets face it, these "friends" that he plans on hanging out with can't be actually friends but rather, I deduct, are just strangers that he enjoys hanging around. Therefore, you two are Chicago bound and will have the best Halloween ever.

We shall see because its his friend Jenny who you probably know and he almost certainly told her he was coming already. But critical mass would be pretty cool- you can look it up on wikipedia.
How was your weekend? How is your kitty doing?
Re: How was everyone's weekend?
Ah, Jenny. Please tell Drago to tell her hello from me. Critical mass is indeed pretty cool (I am assuming here, wikipedia is for the devil).
My weekend was ok. Kinda boring but productive nonetheless. My kitty is doing well, but her ears are starting to bother her again so I'll have to take her to the vet Otherwise she is extremely content laying next to the fireplace while a fire a crackling away.
Has your kitty broken anything recently??

He has not really, just attempted to eat plants I thought i could hide from him in the middle of the night so i had to get up and move them somewhere safer which was frustrating. He is on a diet right now, and i use a laser pointer to exercise him
wiki is okay!
Re: How was everyone's weekend?
I always feel kinda guilty when I use a laser pointer or flashlight on a cat They can't catch it! But maybe they don't really care, and if he's on a diet that's a good way of having him exercise!!
tictac how come you're the only one that seemed to have had a weekend??

i had a weekend...i was in boston, which is always a huge production. Maybe i'm just a small town girl living in a small town world but there are just too many freakin people out there....then we drove through manhattan. I wanted to tear my heart out of my chest and launch it at some pedestrians. Can't stand that city!

Why were you in boston? I had a super fun weekend. I was a black widow, and I got to go through a haunted woods. I was laughing so hard I started crying. I don't see how people think those things are scary.

So it's flexible. Are you staying the same amount of time no matter when you leave??

I miss that damned state "Carter"
I'll be in Bogota for Chrsitmas and New Year's, whole new experience, 'cause I have no idea how do they celebrate, all I know is that will be tons of food and rum, and beer and "aguardiente".
Last weekend was fun, seeing people I havent seen in 15 years, and having piscolas on SAturdays with parents, friends and a gringo from Madison. Mish!
This coming weekend starts oficcially tomorrow night, yay! It's a holidy (a new one since this year) on friday, so now we are the 2nd caountry in South america with most holidays during the year, I think we have 16. Colombia is in the 1st place with 17.
Thats why we are called Third World countries... nobody wants to produce, only have fun... oh well, I guess I cant complain!

wow, that was funny. lol
For your information, i don't think anyone calls chile a 3rd world country. You have some very rough parts, as we all do, but just because the outsides of Santiago are really run down doesn't mean the US doesn't have the same things. Maybe not as much of it but we certainly have a lot of poverty. Ask tictac about her ventures in Tennessee.
Not to mention, you saw a lot of Milwaukee and Minneapolis when you were here. People didn't live in shacks but they were still in hard times.
