Stolen Game Empty Stolen Game

Post by Ollie Octagon Tue Jul 22, 2008 9:46 pm

The Brewers just stole that game. Throwing their worst starter, off the 15 day DL, going down three early in the game and coming back in the last two innings to walk off with a win.

That game was stolen. No way did they deserve to win that game, although the Cardinals were not worthy of the win either. Unreal. I would never have thought I'd be praising guys like Hall, Weeks, and Hardy.

The great thing is a different guy seems to get hot each week. It's really great seeing them spread the wealth like this. I've said it before, if they can get consistent leadoff man production, not only will they be dangerous, they could have an inside track to the World Series.

I wouldn't count the slump out yet, but they are hot at the right time. I'm pumped for the cubs series.

The last 2 nights have been absolutely glorious. Those are the types of wins that can really propel a team. Now I'd love for us to get the win tonight to guarantee the series victory. Hopefully we won't wait until the last few innings to score.

Bill Hall--way to show us what you are capable of.
Soup-way to gut it out after an awful first inning.
