The game is right off of HWY 100 and Loomis. It's pretty easy to find, just north of Loomis about a half mile (or less) south of HWY 100.

I'll be there, but I dont think I can play. My foot is pretty swollen still.

Its actually not to far at all from the airport, I'd say 20 mins. We're just north of Ryan Rd.

man, Polonia just kicked our ass. They got good in a hurry.
Naw but I'd have to give props to Nemo and Tim. I thought they did a raelly good job today and they were all over the field, hustling and chasing the ball.

They really were. Our possession has gotten better in each game. I was talking to jessi (tictac, not nemo) on the way home and it sort of hit me...we played really well all over the field except in both 18's. We gave up way to many easy shots without much pressure (not placing blame, it happens a lot) and Brewers just seemed to hit every chance they had side netting.

Rough loss, i'm looking forward to fall.

Hopefully we'll see you guys at BA and/or Carroll, even though i can't go to the latter.

Our spacing in the middle is ****ing. Once the brewers received the ball in the middle, they were basically able to pass their way down our field.

Palmero was able to do this, and other teams basically at will. For most of our other games our defense stiffened around 30 out and started marking hard.

I think marking in the midfield is something we definetly need to work on next year. If not marking, sorting out the midfield/halfbacks/stopper a bit. I'm almost positive we have enough people behind the ball, we just aren't marking everyone (double marks or something?). And our sweeper has been marking a fair amount-- something I hated to do when sweeping.

I'm definetly with drago on our posession. It's a lot of fun just passing the ball around. I feel like we put a lot more pressure on the brewers in the second half by just controlling the midfield a bit more.

Drago, any chance you could set up some scrimmages for us this summer? Or talk to Langer about it? I think it would definetly benefit us to do some more 11v11.

I'll see what i can do about scrimmages. The Palermo guys seem to be pretty cool with us, i bet they'd be down for a preseason scrimmage (no refs obviously).

I think a major problem we had with our defense is the spacing between back line players. The idea is to get tighter as you get closer to your net...i felt a lot of times we actually got more spread out.

It's little things like that that throw 5 goals in the net.
