Booby's Trip

How was your trip this weekend Booba?? Anything crazy happen?

It was alright. Long drive (12 hours) and it actually was cold in Tennessee, but it wasn't too shabby. We caught a Tennessee college football game (TN has become pretty bad, they lost to Wyoming) and then checked out this place called Gatlinburg. I had never heard of it but I guess it's very popular. It's like WI Dells but larger and without water parks. And that's as crazy as it got....you have to realize I was involved as well as Todd, so the odds of something crazy happening is quite low.

Did you get the chance to get any postcards for foreign friends?

Todd's good. Showed us his practice and his town. He's become even more Todd, if that makes any sense. Tommy is Tommy, which makes for an interesting 24 hour car ride round trip.

I guess i am not as familiar with "even more todd"...i mean, i know todd but that seems like it needs more description...you know how i love todd stories.

you gotta tell me what he thought of obama getting in. I have never spoke politics with him but i gotta figure he was dying inside.

I didn't want it to be brought up. It didn't turn messy, but Todd is "scared to death" about what is going to happen to the country if what he predicts is going to happen will happen. Todd feels that Obama is indeed a Socialist and Socialism will take over the country. Remember though that this is being filtered through me, and maybe I am misinterpreting. If you want the true story ask Todd, but be wary of the consequences. Bottom line: he wanted McCain to win and he didn't think Palin was bad at all.

i wouldn't mind socialism in the least. It has a better track record than all out capitalism.
