Crew Win, Cards Lose

Seems to be the underlying story.

I'm starting to feel more comfortable with Gagne than with Torres. Torres played well last night but is continually getting in to trouble. He needs to come back to form if we do see some action in October. You can't give away games in the 9th.

One nice thing about the playoffs, you can and will use a starter to close out a game 6 or seven. Sabathia would be the perfect guy to do it. Especially if it locked up a win on the series.

I'll never forget the 95 wild card round between the Yanks and the Mariners. Innings 9 to 11 saw relievers come in named David Cone and Randy Johnson. Unbelievable game.

Gagne really yakked it up yesterday. 2/3 of an inning, 4 hits, 3 earned runs.

That was a game that we should have won, but luckily every team chasing us also lost, so hopefully we shake it off and win tonight. Especially since I'll be sitting in a luxury box drinking some grey goose and red bulls!!!!
