Anyone get the feeling we need some cuts on this team?

i'd cut Drago. Guy plays with as much intensity as a dead squirrel. Lazy players should get the axe.

I say we hold tryouts for the fall season. Take the core 5 - 7 guys on the team and have them be the committee. We need a direction, a plan, right now we got squat

The problem is that same we had at Carroll. Everyone's talented and they all think that that will be enough. There is no defense in the middle and it's getting worse every game. It's like we need to play guys like Schultz there just to play defense. It's a total waste, there is no work rate.

That’s what the tryouts and direction will be. Yes we have some very skilled players on the team, a few work horses, but that’s not getting the jobs done. We need to know what positions we need better players in, or maybe just players that can play 2 positions well and be a utility man. Either we need to change our strategy or find different players. It just seems like everyone is on different pages, and with this team that is very frustrating. Maybe all we need an angry bald man to yell at us from the side lines.

If my dad moves back here from Florida (which he might) he could actually coach. He doens't have must expeience, if any, in soccer but he was a great baseball coach. At least then we would have someone specifically looking at the field and players for substitutions.

As tryouts go...i'd be more interested in everyone just showing up to practice.

Everyone showing up to practice.......I think you would need to offer some type of alcoholic beverage for that to be even a possibility....

That's where solid recruiting comes in. If we can keep getting guys that show up or just carroll grads that don't have another team to play for, we could phase out the players that are less serious. It's not a bad thing to be less serious, there would obviously be room on the United squad if that was their goal.

That defender with the almost shaved head could relax a bit, you guys need to do something to mellow him out a bit, he would play much better then. He is way to tense all the time.

we'll figure the fall out when it comes. We aren't missing as much as you might think, we still have a solid 8 or 9 players and could get a couple of lake mills guys or muskego guys.

we need to get todd, he would replace one of the two guys that have not paid.

hey dr. cox, no game this sunday. The team we are playing got booted out of the league, langer said somethinga bout a make up game, but who do we ahve to make up with?

Hey guys, game against the kickers is not on Sunday, it is on Thursday at 7:30 pm at Uhlein.

schultz, the last goal i saw you score was in indoor. It probably was a good time for the goal but lets not kid ourselves...you are not a scorer.

Drago is just saying that Schultz because he is going to tryout for that position when the time comes and is crush people's spritis before the "tryouts" (that will happen). So just remember Schultz, NO DROP KICKS, and I am sure you will beat out at least Matt. You beating out Mark Craft and Joe Paroubek on the other hand....way out of the question.
