Appleton Indoor Tournament (Jan 9)

Like the Holiday tournament, we would be guaranteed 3 games. The games will be a bit shorter than they are at Brook indoor but I have been told, game times may change fro 30 minutes to 50 or we may add a couple games, pending on how many teams sign up.

The organizer is the coach from the Croations and I think it would be nice to play them another time, and playing some original competition in Appleton.

This is a shot in the dark at this point, I have not signed us up. What do you all think of the drive and what not?

150 bucks for the team, so it's less expensive than brook, we're looking at 10 or 15 bucks a player.

I really want to get this one done. If you know of anyone that wants to play, tell them they are invited. If they are current Carroll players, then I'll just duck out of the tourney. It would be better for guys like Koprowski, Klug and Feldkamp getting reps than me.

EDIT: And I can drive too if anyone wants to carpool, I have a SUV. or is it "an" SUV.... !?

i can take people up there but i may not be able to take people back because i think i'm going to stay in oshkosh that night for a birthday party...

What we are probably going to do is jut tell Pat we have a few guys that want to make the trip, then spread us around on other teams that are down in numbers. I don't think we'll have enough for a full roster and woudln't want to bet that we WOULD have a full roster.

I'll talk to Pat and see if he is still cool with that (this was his idea in the first place, so i'm sure there won't be a problem).

I will be in Illinois that day.

oh brad...you make me sad. You missed a good tourney last weekend...not in terms of wins but certainly in terms of beers consumed and pulled muscles.

It seems like we are pretty short people, AJ stated he could ask some guys from Norbs that are up there to play. He seems positive on getting a few of them if need be. Just let me or AJ know.

I assume this tourney is not going to happen?
