maybe if you were talking to a person with a sole or a conscience. I lack pretty severely in both areas.

Your job will be pretty sad with seeing the animals put down and all. Especially animals named marley from movies.

Yeah, not looking forward to that part at all. I have some experience with it, but domestic animals will be different.

How did the first day go? was it really all dog and cat poop?

It was awesome, its going to be alot of hard work definitely. This is as far from a desk job as you can get.

I cleaned a ward with nelle today, and then got trained in various things, some paper work, etc.
The majority of it is cleaning, but its cool cause you get to interact with the animals. there were some kittens today that were so cute i almost vomited. They looked straight from a post card or something. but at the same time its really sad to see just how many animals are behind the scenes.

Got any more stories of puppies pooing on your leg and what not?

on the way to pick n save last night i saw a squirrel dragging himself by his front legs (his back legs weren't working)... now that is sad

That is so sad. I hate seeing roadkill, especially it its still alive. I wish it was legal to run people over too.

Lots of stories but they are probably only interested to me. Got in a war with a huge rottweiler both of us trying to get out of the kennel but me trying not to let her out at the same time. Her head was the size of my torso, and she was pushy. Long story short, I didnt win, we both ended up out, but I had poo all over my feet and all over the floor which i had to clean up. Really sweet dog though Just didnt like being in a kennel

Scary!! AND GROSS!!! Have you had any that have tried to bite you yet?
