EB #34

I was reffing a game yesterday; one team from Green Bay the other was from Milwaukee. While I was doing the player passes I noticed one guy's first name was Edgar and thought it was sort of a strange name and assumed his folks were probably Packer fans from the old days. Upon further review, the kid was 13 and the Packer Edgar Bennett was finishing up his career.

As the game goes on I see his number is 34 (bennett's number), so at halftime I check the player pass again, and his full name is Edgar Bennett. I ask the kid, "are you Edgar Bennett Junior?". He says, "no, Edgar Bennett IV". I told him his dad was a great running back and just let it go.

I scanned the sidelines the rest of the game, missing a few calls too, i'm sure, looking for Big Edgar but he wasn't there. Sort of cool though.
