Debt Commercials

I know it is obvious we're in a recession but have you ever seen so many debt commercials? It's almost every third commercial is about consolidation and getting out of debt in record time.

It's just crazy, any time the sharks smell blood they come out with new was to screw people. Started with the ARM's, reverse mortgages, interest only...now their going for the kill.

Unreal.

We do live in a consumer culture where it is socially acceptable to ring up insane amounts of debt. I must be tired, because normally I'd feel rage building at this point and I'd say something characteristically blowhard-y, but all I find myself thinking about is sitting in Drago's car and drinking a large bottle of cheap whiskey.

That may have been the single greatest night in human events. Sooooo awesome. The best part is that we really had no choice. I mean we had whiskey, we had mountain dew, we had friends...but no one lived there. What were we supposed to do? drink in a bar???

I love how shocked we were when the bouncers told you and me that we couldn't get in with our water bottles full of liquor. lol

it looks liek a good idea to me. almost everyone is in debt right now and of course people will try to help them out. while making some money while there at it!

Economics seem to be getting easier to understand. Maybe they should start calling it "vultur-onomics"? Every where you turn there is another company taking advantage of people.
