Re: D3 All Americans
I have to say I'm pretty disappointed Dent and/or Carlson didn't make any of these teams.
Re: D3 All Americans
The last D3 player from Wisconsin that was an All-American was some forward from UW Oshkosh back in 2003 I believe. (The year they went to the final four) Odds were not in our favor
Re: D3 All Americans
With Carroll being so close to the sweet 16, platteville having a nice season and Oshkosh normally being good...I thought we had a real shot of getting someone in.
If Oshkosh turns it around next year, along with Whitewater....Wisconsin will have a real shot at getting one or two. I hope anyway.

Re: D3 All Americans
Having four good Wisconsin schools will not garner you an All American. Having a player that is head over heels better than the competition he faces will give you an All American.
I've seen Carlson play once, he has a shot but I'm not sure if he has it in him. When I saw Platteville, they were a great team but no one player stood out. It might be a couple more years before Wisconsin claims this honor again.
