I'm surprised Kris Hanson of Ripon got no consideration at all. I couldn't find his total stats on the year but I thought he was a damn good player. Better than Doucette of Norbert (different position but that guy is pretty poor).

I remember him from last year more. He kind of led their defense last year. This year he didnt start and then came in and looked scared, idk lol

I saw him play against Beloit, which isn't the best team to judge talent against. THen i missed the game that carroll played them. Maybe i got the wrong impression.

BTW, how did Norbert only get one first teamer? You'd think in a conference dominated by essentially 3 teams, you'd get more representation from the top 3.

yeah, I though Norberts would have at least two or maybe three on first team. I think the new coach might have got bullyed in the conference call cause he didnt wanna give the wrong impression lol idk

I thought Ben Vanden Avond would get 1st team for sure

Maybe someone can explain this to me. Explain it more than, Heitpas is a sexual savant and takes care of the "voters" more than Prentice.

How in gods name does a guy with a SOG of 52% and 15 goals not make first team all conference? I remember watching him play and thinking he wasn't much to look at, a stiff wind would have sent him off the field, but he is surprisingly fast and looks to have great ball command.

It is my belief that Mr. Prentice needs some advice on ball washing and man-touching in an effort of getting some recognition.

I thought you Carroll boys always swung both ways? Have things really changed that much?

hahaahaaha,

The reason Marc got first team over Andy was because Marc scored the majority of his goals in conference games. He had a hat-trick in the semi-finals and finished with 10 goals in 9 conference games. Whether they were mostly back door finsihes or breakaways from midfield passes 10 goals in 9 games is still impressive.

Prentice came up big in non-conference games. 2 goals against UWW. 2 goals against UWO. Header against St.Thomas that goalie saved and Goranson got the rebound. 2 goals against Wittenberg in First Round of the NCAA tournament.....WIth getting third team all NOrth Central region I would expect Andy to at least move up to second this year...

Prentice just sucks at picking which games to score goals in. What a bum.
