Considered Theft?
If your downstairs neighbors move out and leave a bunch of stuff, would it be considered theft if somebody happened to take some of it?
I really need some baking sheets, maybe a new couch? Not sure what they all have down there. But i would like to find out.

ummm a new couch? we have a couch...where do you want to put it? the bathroom may have some room on top of the toilet, but i'm not carrying it upstairs.
Re: Considered Theft?
at a certain point the stuff becomes yours. the law states that you after a certain period of time, property can transfer ownership without an actual agreement to do so based on the previous owners abandoning it and the new owners or "you" taking ownership

tictac doesn't really follow the same rules or "laws" that you may abide by. If she sees something shiny, chances are its coming home with her.
It's good legal advice but somehow i am expecting to see a new dresser or some new shoes when i get home today.

TAKE IT!! You deserve it! If they didn't want it taken, they would have taken it.

haha, the one thing she didn't mention. The people that lived down stairs had the repo-guy there nearly weekly. They never paid for their stuff, they probably still owe on everything left behind, including the napkins.

i think that kid got the hanger. Whoops...crossed the line but i do believe that once escaped her grasp. 2 kids for two 21 year olds appears to be enough.
