No Soda August

I have had a sip of the stuff since august began. I don't have a real reason as to give it up, because i really do like it in the afternoons sometimes, I just don't want to become a fatty-fat-fat.

So i gave it up. Anyone care to join in for the last third???

it's getting tougher as the days go on, i really want a flippin coke right now.

i already broke the rule

everyone broke the damn rule! My horses lisa and hikel broke it on day one!

That's what i'm sayin. They both give the sheepish grin and say..."i really wanted one today"...i put my head down and gently cried to myself. I needed them to be my crutch! now i sit here shaking because i'm out of coffee and can't have the sugar goodness.

Did i ever tell you my dad fit an 11 year old for dentures? the kids drank a 12 to 16 mt. dews per day. Not saying you do that, but that is a lot of flippin mt. dew.

Great parenting, and imagine the sugar buzzed kids, better yet the withdrawals they went through would be just crazy

reynolds was in here and said it must have been expensive for that family to pay for about 5 to 10 bucks worth of Mt. Dew per day...i agree, then add the cost of dentures, i think they are like 5k plus upkeep. When the kid keeps growing over the next few years, his mouth will expand as well.

That's not necessarily true. My ex drank 6-7 Mountain Dews a day and she was 100 lbs soaking wet.

You should bring that up in your next review. A healthy worker is a happy worker. So if there is no green tea made available to you like the coffee and soda you will seriously be looking for other banking opportunities with financial institutions that do have green tea on the menu.

I haven't had a soda all month. Just drink water. It is hydrating, does wonders for your skin, hair, body in general. It gets all the crap (like soda) out of your system, and it is proven to wake you up, and the more water you drink, the less you will get hungry. Did you know that one of the main reasons people get hungry all the time (besides starving themselves) is because they don't drink enough water?

No, its cool. That is what I thought was going on, I just wanted to make sure.

Correction Drago, I did not smoke like a chimney. I had only been smoking 3 to 5 everyday for a year and a half prior to quitting.
