Leroi Moore-Saxophonist for DMB-dies suddenly at 47
"We are deeply saddened that LeRoi Moore, saxophonist and founding member of Dave Matthews Band, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, August 19, 2008, at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles from sudden complications stemming from his June ATV accident on his farm near Charlottesville, Virginia. LeRoi had recently returned to his Los Angeles home to begin an intensive physical rehabilitation program."
Whether you liked DMB or not, there is absolutely no denying the superior musicianship and creativity of DMB. Moore, through his great improvisation skills and versatility, was a great musician. When I played saxophone in high school, he was an inspiration to me. The band played last night after finding out about his death, I can only imagine how emotional that must have been for them.
I encourage people to take a listen to songs like Seek Up, Bartender, and the Dreaming Tree if they want to hear a side of DMB that isn't well known to the public. They have some absolutely phenomenal songs in their catalog, but unfortunately people know them too much for Crash Into Me and Ants Marching.
If anyone wants to hear some of their stuff, I used to collect their live concerts, and I have well over 2,000 of their cds. i'm more than happy to give some stuff away now that i don't listen to them as much.

Dave Mathews is a product of his little brother beating off onto the toilet seat and his mother taking a **** directly after. Sort of the same way Randy was concieved.
