Re: Triathlon
Sorry man, not me. I always wanted to give it a try but me being cheap and a terrible swimmer always got in my way.
You did pretty well this last time i thought?

Re: Triathlon
I did do well last time, but my time compared to the winner of the race was about a 50 minute difference. Now I never plan on winning one of these things but I obviously have tons of room to improve. I might be doing another one come the end of September and I would like to try and cut off at least ten minutes of my time. So besides getting in better shape, I am looking for any tips that I can get from anyone that has done these things before.

Re: Triathlon
You want to know my swimming tip? Mind you i am not a good swimmer but i heard this from a good swimmer.
The idea, apparently, is to spend as much time with one of your arms straight forward. Picture a downhill skier, the longer the skies, the faster you go. Same principal in swimming. It's one of the reasons phelps is so good, he's tall.
So yeah, push hard with your arms but really try to stay extended for as much time as possible during strokes. Something to work on i guess.

Re: Triathlon
I wasn't aware of there being many tricks to a triathalon. Besides insanity, that would be a primary need.

Re: Triathlon
Well if you talk to Drago insanity was already a given on my part. Any training tips, or maybe someone would like to join me in the craziness.

Re: Triathlon
I bet Schultz would do it. Infact, i think he either did that or a marathon recently with his lady friend.
Re: Triathlon
Well what is it Schultz? I will be doing a half marathon in the middle of September and then maybe another triathlon at the end of September.
