Is it my job to entertain you? Last time i checked you were in the political forum making fun of topics. I thought the ideas in there were pretty solid. So i leave it up to you mr. joke maker...do you have anything good to talk about?

Ok Jackie here is the insight. The UN was warned 2 years ago of Russia's build up of military forces in the Georgia area. 2 YEARS AGO!!! Since then Russia has had a continual build up of military forces in the area leading up to the conflict. This was a plan attack and after the initial attack Russia has decided that there needed to be a few more parking lots in the area. Then they give their word to a cease fire…..and well we all found out how good their word is, or maybe they just felt the need to make one more parking lot. Oh and so far the only repercussion that they have suffered was a stern word from Pres Bush and are getting a visit from Rice. Yeah I bet Russia is so scared….There you go buddy I gave you some insight.

After 1200 years of having warlike Vikings, then brutal princes, then Tartar overlords, then more brutal princes, then the KGB, then despotic tsars, then anarchy, then brutal bolshieviks, then brutal dictators, then Russian organized crime...

Well you are talking about a country that once tried to remove ape heads and tired to put them on human bodies in an attempt to create a mind controlled warrior. What does that tell you...if it is "wired" this would be the best bet.

I think it's Russia trying to flex its muscle. They are showing that they are still a world power.

Our inability to affect their actions is also being shown on a world stage.

Don't ask me why, but I think Russia is not to blame for the conflict. I think Georgia provoked it, and is now using it to gain the world's backing. I really think a lot of people think it's Russia's fault just because it is Russia. They need to change their name.

i believe they did change their name from the USSR to Russia at some point.

But changed it back to their old name. They need to be called Newcastle or something similarly as great.
