Olympics

Anyone have any thoughts on this??

i'm actually watching hand ball right now. it's weird/crazy.it's like soccer but the ball is in your hand and your throw it into the goal.

does anyone here know what i'm talking about ?

Never have seen that event. The only handball I know of is where they hit the ball against the wall; essentially racquetball with your hand. Hard to play, too.

Overall I haven't been able to watch much Olympics.

I never really enjoyed the olympics. I guess i just assume everyone there is cheating and therefore don't care as much.

they probably aren't all cheating, but all i hear is that people are being caught cheating or kicked out of the games (months before hand) or having medals stripped. I didn't care much to begin with but if they are cheating then i really don't care at all.

the one i remember is Marion Jones. I actually liked watching her too, she was a hell of a sprinter and seemed very real, and down to earth. Then they found she cheated (steroids or things to that effect) and stripped her medals.

I guess that sort of did it for me. I felt like she tricked me.

i've been watching a lot of the swimming. That is really exciting to watch. Phelps goes for 2 more golds tonight!

Drago was just telling me you were all about the guys in their tight plastic swim outfits. He also mentioned something about male gymnastics and their fantastic arms... whatever that means.

I'll tell you from experience, jess doesn't really care who wins (she apologizes after beating people in beer pong) so she just likes watching the competition really.

i don't knw much about the sport but i find it entertaining.

I didnt get to watch much of mens. The girls from China were amazing though. I felt so bad for Alicia Sacramone falling on her beam mount.

I got the works. I'm hoping I see him tonight but I doubt it. He's got plans with Kira on Saturday. I might go down to Il to see him before he goes back to Iowa but I dono. He's a pretty busy guy with visitations and stuff.

Talk about high expectations. 7 golds and 1 silver would be a pretty big disappointment. But you know, for most people that would be pretty neat! Almost admirable.
