Jets games

Are we even going to see the games. my bet is that we won't get to see him play. unless you have the timewarner cable nfl package. then you get to see everygame.

I was actually talking to someone about this yesterday (datrain i think), the Packers first game is on monday night, meanwhile the Jets play the vaunted Miami Dolphins in Miami. I bet it will be televised on CBS.

I hope it is, or else i need to go to a bar and watch it.

It should be televised all over. Tons of people are going to want to see him play. On the jets' site, there are a bunch of bandwagoners admitting they liked Favre more than they liked the Packers. Strange.

I honestly could see the jets making a very strong run in the playoffs. They are a team that, on paper, can run the ball and stop the run. I've said it before, if you can do both of those, you can compete with anyone in the playoffs.

If the Packers and the Jets both made the Super Bowl I would kill myself. Not because of a particular dislike for either team, but because I wouldn't be able to watch TV for the month beforehand. I don't think I can handle hearing any more Brett Favre talk for at least another 12-18 months.

i was that way before he was dawning the green and white. The jets QB situation was so bad i was really wondering how Kellen could make it through a season. This changes things, gives me more optimism, just like what happened in 1999 after the jets had made the AFC title game and in the first quater of the first game Vinny blew out his achillies.

yeah, vinny was on fire the year before. I still can't believe they lost to the Broncos, they had like a 13 point lead going into the 4th. some of the strangest plays i've ever seen. Guys fumbling that had never fumbled, picks thrown to no one in particular...wierdest game i ever saw.

Bledsoe is the reason i think Parcells is overrated. The QB has spent a career being average, yet tuna kept signing him and sticking with him, even when romo was waiting in the wings (as an unknown, but still...).

Parcells is not turning the phins around, he'll keep them where they are until he is gone.

The only championship the guy ever won was because he had BB as a D-coordinator, same with the only title games he's ever made.

The problem with Bledsoe's getting worse isnt' that he's getting old, it's that he is not on a current NFL roster...he's retired.

the jets have 2 running that can play. washington and someone.

a first ballott hall of famer, best run blocking guard in football? alan faneca of pittsburgh, he and hutchinson are allegedly similar players, faneca takes the nod in run blocking where hutch is better than faneca in pass blocking.

and the former lion, damion woody, to go with a good pass blocker in brick and a great center in mangold. I say great only because that's what casey hampton of the steelers said after they played them last season.

i'd say that the jets really improved over the past season.. wait am i turning into a jets fan
