So Depressing

The beginning of the end for a director that I had regarded as one of the best working in Hollywood today. He might prove me wrong, but I doubt it.

robocop is awesome

i haven't heard of any of them movies this director has done but i hope he does robocop good.

Sorry for making your life more difficult, Drago. Darren Aronofsky is the guy that directed Requiem For a Dream.

yeah yeah, i read the article. Why would you think he'd botch Robocop before it even comes out? He could make it as sweet as the new batman series.

You're right, maybe I'm overreacting.

I'm not worried that he'll ruin the movie (I could care less about Robocop) I'm worried the movie will ruin him.

It's funny what you mentioned about Batman, though. Aranofsky was originally the one slated to direct Batman Begins, and I think he wanted Brad Pitt for the role. He had to drop out because of scheduling conflict, and in came God to take his place. (God = Christopher Nolan).

I wouldn't have liked the brad pitt selection either...but i wouldn't count Aronofsky out of making a terrific batman movie.

That said, i'm glad Nolan did it. Very glad.
