Yeah i know Nelson. He's a stud, get him to the next game, tell him it's 50 bucks and we're good.

How did it go anyway? Why didn't this game count?

no refs showed up. i had to ref the following game and there were only two of us. There is this thing with refs where some want to go corporate incase we get hurt, then we'd be covered medically. Funny thing is, if we ever got hurt and were "coporate", they wouldn't do anything to help us.

so strange for something so simple (as reffing) to get bureaucratic.

refs get paid well enough, I say: cover your own medical expenses...whiners.

that's what i'm saying. I broke my foot on a soccer field...pretty sure the club didn't pick up that bill...how many other people had the same **** happen? It gets old, they just whine and complain and make trouble for all the players and refs that actually show up.
