Second Best RB in the NFL???

Post by carter on Mon Oct 12, 2009 6:37 pm

Please vote. I really think it is Ronnie Brown and will vote as such. I am not talking about yards or what team they play for, I am talking about pure talent. Who is the second (to Adrian Peterson) most talented RB?

I also voted for Brown, but I wasn't basing it on talent but rather who is the most valuable to his team. A close second might be Frank Gore.

Brown.

I think the better question is, "Who is the second best QB in the NFL (to Derek Anderson)?"

I don't want it to be about who is more valuable to his team, just the more talented player. I have thought this for at least two years about Brown. I thought he was a bit worse than LT and AP but I really thought it was close. Last nights game was another example of how good he can be. He's just a load to bring down and he's so elusive.

Do QB's come any better than Derek Anderson?

I voted Gore. He's powerful, quick, and reads blocks and gaps really well. If you throw all those guys on the same team with the same line and passing game, Gore does the best.

I don't know about Gore. I like his style and all but i don't think he could possibly be number 2 in the league. I'd have to watch more 9er games but Ronnie Brown eats human and destroys buildings with his bare hands.

I can't vote on this. No Stephen Jackson? Have you lost your mind?

Truth. It is completely inexcusable for Benson to be in there if Jackson isn't. Hell, Ryan Grant has a better case than Benson does.

I'd say that some of the guys on that list don't have enough years in the league to show that they're consistent performers, and Jackson has shown his ability over several seasons. Still don't think he's better than Gore or Brown, but deserves mention.

Jackson might be the best pure athlete running back. He is the teams offense considering they have no O line and no QB...

The fact that he can rush for almost 100 yards a game is insane !

Right now I think Ronnie Brown looks good, Benson and Johnson also look good. To tough to call.

Ethan agreed with me. I'm going upstairs to tell me my mom that I am making internet friends.

I saw that stat about Jackson over the past few seasons. 130 yards of offense per game. Just crazy considering they haven't won a game in almost a full season.

Ollie, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Maybe I can move in with you and your mom when I get back to the states?

If you move in with him, you'll have to partake in his "school yard watching" game. He always tells me how much he loves it and that local authorities are fine with his sitting and watching. Anyway, i'm sure that's right up your alley too. Laughing
