Free agents in my work league

Post by cpschult on Wed Sep 23, 2009 8:37 am

I just picked up Fred Jackson, Mario Manningham, and Willis McGahee out of free agency. Steve Smith from the Giants is also in free agency.

That makes me wonder about the people I'm playing against. Just for the record my running backs in this league are now;
1)Darren Sproles (thanks drago)
2)Fred Jackson
3)Willis McGahee
4)Steven Jackson
5)Brandon Jacobs

nice eh? PS i'm starting sproles and jackson this week

Now my question of the week! What WR to start. I have Mario Manningham, Johnny Knox, Dwayne Bowe, and Patrick Crayton. I'm currently thinking mario and knox, but really want to slip bowe in there. Tough man, tough!

If you can only start two, I would suggest Bowe and Manningham. Knox may turn out to be a great player but you might want to wait a couple more weeks to see how he does.

Crayton is awful, simply put.

I've been reading about Crayton and they are talking about him being the number one receiver for the cowboys...

Why do you think he is so terrible? He's a fast motherfucker!

Crayton has the worst case of Alligator arms I have ever seen. At least from a professional athlete. He is fast but don't be surprised if he posts a world beating three touchdowns this year.

I really want to start McCoy over Chris Johnson. It's a PPR league and Johnson has the jets, where as McCoy has the Chiefs. I just can't bench my top dog...even though he's going against a D that will probably not give up much to the guy.

I am guessing this came back to bite you. Although with a PPR, McCoy probably only scored 5 or 6 more points than Johnson.

I am waiting for Johnson to snap in half on one of these tackles, he has literally no size what-so-ever.
